Unit Description

This unit helps you develops the knowledge and skills related to the pathophysiology, pharmacology and nursing care for people who experience an acute life-threatening and/or traumatic condition that may involve multiple systems failure. Using a Primary Health Care approach, we will use national health priorities of cardiovascular health, and injury prevention and control. We also look at habilitation and rehabilitation of people who have experienced acute life-threatening or traumatic complex health issues.
