Subject Description

Techniques in Financial Accounting is the third subject in the financial accounting stream and builds directly on the Financial Accounting Applications unit. Students will be introduced to business structure and accounting requirements for company formation and operations. Utilising theoretical and practical learning techniques this subject teaches students how to account for receivables and payables, the disposal of non-current assets and preparation of cash flow statements.
